Yes, I've read it to and it's a great book. Couldn't put it down. Anthony had quite a father growing up!
Yeah, one who arranges sexual favors for his son! I thought that was horrible, personally. It would have been one thing if he found that experience at that age on his own-- with someone his own age, or close-- but to do that-- it is abuse! (Sorry if I am too conservative with that for your taste, it is just NOT a parents job to provide drugs and sex for his adolescent BOY.)
So far, my only criticism is that Anthony is loose mouthed, in that he finds a way to categorize every new person he meets as the nicest, rudest, best, loudest, sexiest, etc. Everyone has an "est" that he's never experienced before. It is unreal. Not everyone can top the rest with something. It isn't like he's saying "Wow, that person is really great at this, or that aspect of their personality is really awesome...". He loosely/carelessly forces a competition with his acquiantances, even if only in his mind.
And it doesn't leave much to the imagination that way...
That is the negative, right now, I have only been skimming so far--
I'll still keep you guys updated as I read further... I think the detail thing is because I don't have much of a reference to events, in that, they are not widely published, like Motley, so I am skimming to get some background before I go back in for the total read...
