CHICAGO, IL -For 2007, The Flaming Dames are back with their fifth production, The Flaming Dames in Talk Dirty to Me. For die hard fans and the soon-to-be groupies, the Dames have another head banging batch of dynamite dance moves, sizzling new babes, bigger hair, and bigger attitude.
Since 2003, The Flaming Dames have been Chicago's premiere Rock and Roll burlesque troupe. Created, written, directed, and choreographed by NMTC company member Leslie Kerrigan, The Dames have been dropping jaws for their loyal fans show after heart-stopping show.
07 is their biggest year yet! The dames are gonna pour some sugar on you and take you to Paradise City with the hottest bumping, grinding & kicking dance moves yet, the funniest pop-culture comedy, and everyone's favorite: Good Ol' Fashioned Rock and Roll! Sing, dance, and be prepared to get rowdy and have a great time. With MCs Russel Lovejoy and Nigel Savage, the Dames are going to guarantee you a heart stopping, head banging, rip roaring flashback to the Me Decade!
The Dames will kickstart your heart with their high energy, in your face, tongue-in-cheek dance numbers. Their sexy repartee will only leave you wanting more. Jackie Daniels, Aqua Nettie and Greta Groupie are three of the seven femme fatales of Hair Rock that will welcome you to the jungle with open arms! Come out and see what the cat dragged in!
Whether you are a die-hard Dames fan or new to their feminine wiles, there is something for everyone in The Flaming Dames in Talk Dirty to Me. Bring your friends, bring a date, bring yourself, but just get to The Spot Chicago on Fridays at 10:30 for the Flaming Dames.
Talk Dirty to Me runs every Friday night starting March 2 through May 25 at 10:30 pm at the Spot, located at 4437 N. Broadway (between Montrose and Wilson).

Background
The Flaming Dames is Chicago's premiere concept burlesque show. Originally a burlesque class taught by New Millennium Company member Leslie Kerrigan, the Flaming Dames produced their first burlesque show in 2003. The original prodution, SIN-troducing The Flaming Dames was scheduled for a very limited, four show run. However, after their debut weekend in August of 2003, The Flaming Dames were turning audience members away due to sold out shows. Three more concept shows have been produced since, including The Flaming Dames in Slippery When Wet & Talk Dirty To Me, and The Flaming Dames in VAMP, which was a Halloween-based, horror-themed burlesque show. Now, The Dames veer from the traditional cabaret style. "They are all pretty solidly based around rock-and-roll and the burlesque stip-tease", Kerrigan said, putting an emphasis on the word tease. "We'll never get completely naked; that's not exactly what we do, but rather we revel in the art of teasing you till you can't take it anymore. When you mix that with loud and dirty rock and roll you really can't go wrong. We want our audiences to feel like they're part of the show, so we encourage them to sing along, scream and cheer, and actually interact with The Dames because, in the end, being entertained and everyone having a great time all around is really what it's all about".
New Millennium Theatre Company ( http://www.nmtchicago.org) is Chicago's premiere Pop-Culture based non-profit theatre. Since 1998, New Millennium Theatre Company has entertained thousands of people from around the country with sold out shows such as Scooby-Doo Mystery Theatre; Detective Story; Evil Dead: The Musical; Shakesploitation!; Cubicle: An Office Space Musical!; and the highly successful burlesque series, The Flaming Dames. Since 2003, New Millennium has been a featured performer at the Flashback Weekend Horror and Sci-Fi convention, and has formed a lasting partnership with Chicago based Devils Due Publishing. New Millennium continues to do shows that bring non-traditional audiences to live theatre. "We do shows we want to see" says Artistic Director Chad Wise. New Millennium has kicked off its 8th season with The Flaming Dames in Talk Dirty to Me.

Hey bitches, it's me leslie (from The Flaming Dames)...I REALLY REALLY hope I get to meet some Bored members at the show! If y'all are in fact stopping in to see what we're all about, make it known who you are, say that you heard about it via Nikki's site, and I will personally make sure you get a very good seat. ;) (Moxie can tell ya). Also mention if it's yours or someone in your groups, birthday...The Dames do something "special" for birthdays...(teehee)

Hey ladies! Yeah, it's in the same place that used to be called "Frankie J's" and it is DIRECTLY next door to the tattoo factory. (cool huh?).
Hank, the guy that is the head piercer there, (tattoo factory) is the dude that gave me that shot of Sixx getting his eyebrow pierced way back when. You guys remember when Moxie posted that?
So feasibly, you can come see some hot chixx and rock and roll; have dinner, go get some ink and then possibly have something pierced. That's what I call a fun evening!!
